I grew up in rural West Texas, and graduated from TexasTech University with a Bachelor’s in Dietetics and Nutrition. I then earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where I also completed a Dietetic Internship, and received the honor of being named Dietetic Student of the Year for the state of Kansas.
My strong background in Functional Nutrition and Elimination Diets includes certification in Low FODMAP management, and as a Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management. These professional aptitudes enable me to assist a diverse clientele, from people working to manage gastrointestinal disorders, kidney disease, diabetes, and pre-diabetes, to athletes eager to add an effective sports nutrition regimen to their training, to everyone in between.
For the past 15 years, I have practiced in an outpatient setting at Intermountain Health, located in Park City, Utah. Previously, I’ve worked in hospital and dialysis care settings, and in nutritional sales. I’m currently licensed in Utah, Texas, Florida, and Illinois.
Personally, I am a competitive runner (a lifelong joy!) and a recreational mountain biker, and recently discovered a new found love of wakeboard surfing in Texas.
